  • Tempers for Damage To Crowd-Controlled Enemies is beneficial to max out Earthen DevastationEarthen Devastation. Once that is capped, take Tempers for Earth Lucky Hit Chance.
  • Lucky Hit, Chance to Stun or Immobilize, and Earth Lucky Hit Chance play into synergy for effects like Constricting TendrilsConstricting Tendrils, Heightened MaliceHeightened Malice, and Aspect of Shared MiseryAspect of Shared Misery. These all help contribute to Primal LandslidePrimal Landslide Terramote Generation. Lucky Hit Chance also is beneficial for Calm Before the Storm triggers for CataclysmCataclysm.
  • Chance to Immobilize or Stun affects volume of Primal LandslidePrimal Landslide.
  • Tempers for reducing TrampleTrample cooldown are to help Trample get reset in fewer triggers of Symbiotic AspectSymbiotic Aspect. This competes with Movement Speed Temper 🙁
  • Critical Strike Chance is low priority because of Primal LandslidePrimal Landslide Guaranteeing high volumes of Critical Strikes.

Armor cap is 9230 against any enemies Level 100 and above, for up to 85% Damage Reduction. This is generally reached at 925 Item Power with a maxed armor Affix from Vasily's PrayerVasily’s Prayer.

Elixirs, Incense and Health Potions

The Alchemist offers helpful consumables at the cost of foraged materials found throughout Sanctuary.

  • Craft the highest available Elixir of AdvantageElixir of Advantage for Attack Speed and Lucky Hit.
  • If mats are available, craft Chorus of WarChorus of War.
  • Remember to upgrade your potion as you level, increasing the instant healing of the potion!

Unique Items

  • (Required) Vasily's PrayerVasily’s Prayer has a number of interactions with the build. Making LandslideLandslide into a Werebear skill allows the build to mostly stay in Werebear form and benefit from Shapeshifting functions such as Survival InstinctsSurvival Instincts.
  • (Recommended) Mjölnic RyngMjölnic Ryng gives a strong multiplier while CataclysmCataclysm is active. Cooldown Reductions like Calm Before the Storm or Ultimate Efficiency —  DruidUltimate Efficiency —  Cataclysm Cooldown Reduction help maintain this buff. Uptime should be good, but not full. Trampleslide is a high Lucky Hit build so will get plenty of Calm before the Storm triggers.
  • (Optional Defensive) Insatiable FuryInsatiable Fury Can be useful for Trampleslide. Offering strong defensiveness from Iron FurIron Fur Ranks and Ranks to TrampleTrample, meaning that Skill Point can be used elsewhere. Move Aspect of Shared MiseryAspect of Shared Misery to pants.
  • (Optional Offensive) Wildheart HungerWildheart Hunger Gives a 5 second buff that boosts a stacking damage buff every 2 second, up to 20 stacks of the damage buff. This means a shapeshift to Werebear or Werewolf needs to happen at least every 5 seconds, to maintain the damage stacks. This can be a very disruptive Unique Item to gameplay, but the multiplier is hard to ignore. Move Symbiotic AspectSymbiotic Aspect to Pants.
  • (Optional) Airidah's Inexorable WillAiridah’s Inexorable Will is still a high quality of life ring with decent affixes, including ultimate cooldown reduction. Can replace either ring slot.
  • EarthbreakerEarthbreaker is not recommended for Trampleslide. It only triggers from hard-cast Landslides so any from Aspect of the Trampled EarthAspect of the Trampled Earth or Subterranean AspectSubterranean Aspect will not work with it. It would be much more useful on our more traditional Landslide Build.

Mythic Unique Items

Tyrael's MightTyrael’s Might – While at full Life, your Skills unleash a divine barrage dealing [X] damage.

This is a solid Unique Item with great defensive affixes. The effect that should trigger often with the amount of damage events Trampleslide puts out. Move Aspect of Shared MiseryAspect of Shared Misery to pants.

Advanced Information

It is time to get started on your Tramplesliding journey!

Or see below for further information on how the build works, as well as further explanations for Paragon, Gearing, and Gameplay, and available playstyle options.

Build Mechanics

LandslideLandslide is our primary, high-damage Skill. Many parts work together to put out high volumes of Critical Strike Landslides.

The triggers for LandslideLandslide are the following:

Terramotes and you: Primal LandslidePrimal Landslide – When you Immobilize or Stun an enemy, you gain a Terramote. Each enemy hit by Landslide consumes a Terramote causing a guaranteed Critical Strike with 40%[x] Critical Strike Damage. Bosses always have up to a 10% chance to grant a Terramote when hit. Triggers for Immobilizes and Stuns come from a variety of sources:

  • Landslides damaging enemies builds a counter on Enhanced LandslideEnhanced Landslide – After Landslide damages enemies 4 times, the next hit will Immobilize enemies for 3 seconds.
  • Poison CreeperPoison Creeper Active Skill use. Poison CreeperPoison Creeper is constantly reset from Pack Leader Spirit Boon Lucky Hits on Critical Strikes.
  • Utility Tempers for Lucky Hit: Chance to Stun or Lucky Hit: Chance to Immobilize
  • Knockbacks from TrampleTrample when the enemy hits walls.
  • Constricting TendrilsConstricting Tendrils – Lucky Hit: Nature Magic Skills have up to a 15% chance to entangle the enemy with vines, Immobilizing them for 2 seconds and Poisoning them for 120%[x] of the Base damage dealt over 4 seconds.
  • Enhanced Storm StrikeEnhanced Storm Strike has a chance to Immobilize all enemies hit.
  • Aspect of Shared MiseryAspect of Shared Misery Spreads these Crowd-Control effects to nearby enemies, which are even more Terramote events.

Whew, that was a lot of Lucky Hits! That’s why there’s so much Lucky Hit on gear and from other sources like TectonicTectonic. The only unfortunate part is Nature's FuryNature’s Fury itself does not interact with Lucky Hit. Everything else does though!

Another layer of damage events is Poison effects!

CataclysmCataclysm casts Lightning StormLightning Storm and TornadoTornado frequently, and with Mjölnic RyngMjölnic Ryng can provide a hefty 100% multiplier to all damage. Cooldown Reduction Gear Affix, Endless TempestEndless Tempest ranks and Calm Before the Storm and Calamity Spirit Boons help keep this Skill active.

That was a lot, but it’s all a bit less to worry about in practice, just check out the Rotation Section for the Tl;dr!

Paragon

The Paragon Board is a progression system unlocked at Level 50, giving player power through Common stat Nodes, Magic affix Nodes, Rare leveled Glyphs, and Legendary board-exclusive Nodes. For general paragon board information, check the guide here.

The recommended Paragon boards with images for the Trampleslide Druid are listed above. The following section goes over some explanations and descriptions for the pathing process for the Trampleslide Druid.

Broadly speaking, decisions for pathing through the Druid paragon board are divided into three categories:

  • Damage – The paragon boards provide a significant amount of Damage Multipliers and Additives. This includes:
  • Defense – The paragon boards help reach goals on Damage Reduction, Armor and Resistances. This includes:
    • Damage Reduction is improved from UndauntedUndaunted and TerritorialTerritorial secondary effects, PoisePoise gives periodic Barrier, and individual nodes provide bonuses like Damage Reduction from Poisoned Enemies.
    • Resistances are improved from Magic and Rare Resistance nodes, with Earth and SkyEarth and Sky and OutmatchOutmatch bonuses improving their nearby Resistance nodes.
    • Armor goals are reached with the help of Armor nodes in Inner BeastInner Beast.
    • Max Life nodes such as CourageCourage.
  • Build Functionality – The paragon boards improve Interactions for the build from a few sources, including:
