Paladin Talents

The Paladin has access to 35 different talents (passive skills) in Diablo 4.

As more points are allocated into the skill tree, additional talent choices become available. Unlike skills, however, talents are passive. This means that you do not have to actively equip them in order to use them.

Each talent can be given up to 3 skill points, except for the powerful Keystone Passives, which can only be given one skill point.

Core Talents

The Core talents of the Paladin are fairly quick to unlock, requiring only 2 skill points to be allocated in the skill tree.

PietyYour Maximum Faith is increased by X.
En GardeYou gain X% Armor and X% Block Chance.
ParryBlocking restores X Faith.
RiposteBlocking grants you X% damage for X seconds.
DisciplineYour Core Skills deal X% increased damage.

Aura Talents

Paladin Aura talents are unlocked after allocating 6 skill points in the skill tree.

LongevityYou gain X% Healing received.
RenewalBlocking Fortifies you for X% of your Maximum Life.
AnointingYour allies Heal for X% of the Healing you receive.

Valor Talents

Paladin Valor talents are unlocked after 11 skill points have been allocated in the skill tree.

ResoluteGaining a stack of Resolve Heals for X% of your Maximum Life.
ConvictionGain X% Attack Speed for each stack of Resolve, up to X%.
AttenuateGain 1 Resolve every 7 seconds an Elite enemy is Nearby.
CourageGain X% Resource Cost Reduction for every stack of Resolve up to X%.
Thorns and ThistlesGains 20 Thorns and your Total Thorns damage is increased by X%
The Best OffenseYou deal X% increased damage while Fortified.
RepentanceGains X% Retribution chance.
FortitudeGain X% Critical Strike Damage while Fortified.

Justice Talents

To unlock the Paladin Justice talents, 16 skill points must first be allocated in the skill tree.

Crack in the ArmorYou deal X% increased damage to Vulnerable enemies.
High CharityYou gain 4% Cooldown Reduction.
RighteousnessYou deal X% increased Holy and Fire damage.
Leave Luck to HeavenYou gain 3% Lucky Hit Chance.
PacifyYou gain X% increased Crowd Control Duration.
Dizzying BlowYou deal X% increased damage to Crowd Controlled enemies.
Iron Sharpens IronYou gain X% Critical Strike Damage.
Break the LineYou have a X% increased Critical Strike Chance and deal X% increased Damage to Weakened enemies.
Press the AdvantageCritically Striking grants you 3% Damage Reduction for 5 seconds.
HeavyweightYou deal X% increased Critical Strike Damage while Healthy.

Ultimate Talents

To unlock the Ultimate talents of the Paladin, a total of 23 skill points must be allocated in the skill tree.

Shining ArmorYou deal X% increased damage to Elites and X% increased damage to Healthy enemies.
Giant SlayerYou deal X% increased damage to Elites and X% increased damage to Healthy enemies.
Sacred ArmsGains a bonus based on your equipped weapon types: Two Handed: Gain X% Critical Strike Damage. One Handed and Shield: X% chance to ignore damage.
Master CraftworkYour armor is increased by X% of your Shield’s Block Chance.
Shake it OffYou have a X% chance to become Unstoppable for 1 second after being hit by a Crowd Control Effect.

Key Passive

Paladin Key Passives are unlocked after 33 skill points have been allocated in the skill tree. Unlike most other talents, however, Key Passives are mutually exclusive. This means that only one of them may be selected, so make sure you choose wisely.

Coat of ArmsYour damage is increased by 75% of your Armor Percent and 50% of your Block Chance.
Path of the PenitentYour Zealot Skills cost 100% more Faith, but Casting them grants all Skills X% Resource Cost Reduction and 10% increased damage for 4 seconds, up to 10 times.
ExaltationDuring Arbiter, your damage is increased by 85% and Wing Strikes strike 1 additional time.
Judgement DayConsuming Judgement increases your damage by X% for 5 seconds, up to X%. Judgement now spreads to nearby targets without Judgement when it detonates.
