Diablo IV Season 9 is just around the corner, and the PTR is over. A few builds are starting to surface as the possible best builds for the upcoming Season. Among those is one Barbarian build that might already be on top of the S-Rank Builds for S9.
What Is the Build About
In a recent video, a player showcases a Whirlwind Barbarian build tearing through Pit Tier 150, Diablo IV’s endgame content. What really stands out isn’t the clear speed through the dungeon, but more the boss at the end. The Pit Guardian barely has time to spawn before getting instantly deleted by a burst of damage. It’s as impressive as it is broken.

The build seems relatively straightforward to play, relying on the classic three shouts combo, Berserker ultimate, Flay for the bleed damage, and Whirlwind. On top of that, with new Season 9 mechanics: the Horadric Powers. The Bleeds and Flay combo appears to be doing some heavy damage. This Barbarian will bring you through the highest Pits.
Will It Get Nerfed
The biggest problem is this was tested during PTR, and the risk always for Blizzard to completely nerf it before the Season even starts.
Season 9 is scheduled to begin at the end of the month, so there’s still time for Blizzard to adjust the numbers. But if this setup goes untouched, you may want to play Barbarian this season!
