Whisper Caches in Diablo 4 Season 8 have been nerfed, now granting XP upon claim instead of being stashable for powerleveling. However, this change DOES NOT apply to Eternal realms, where players can still gain 2.2 million XP per cache. This was confirmed by Derpazoid9 on the Season 8 PTR.
While not the most efficient leveling method, it remains a useful strategy for those preparing characters for the next expansion. If you’re looking to max out your characters, this could still be a viable option, especially before potential future nerfs.
