Unable to play on Linux platforms after new update

As you’ve all seen, our fix tonight did not solve the issue so we will regroup in the morning. Apologies again for the delay. I appreciate everyone who helped verify tonight!

Blizzard Community Manager Marcoose has shared more details on the fix for Season 14’s Linux launch issues, confirming that an emergency patch is on the way.

According to Marcoose, the team is building an emergency patch to deploy that should resolve the issue, with a possible release as soon as tonight, though the timing is uncertain. The CM thanked players for their patience and apologized for the delay.

This is an encouraging update for Steam Deck and other Linux players who have been unable to load the game. You can find the community discussion below.
