Who Is Astaroth?
Astaroth is one of Mephisto’s lieutenants, also called “the Charred Duke”. This demon is known for riding a massive, flame-spewing multi-headed dog into battle. In Season 9, he’s been upgraded to a complete endgame boss that you can farm for specific Unique and Mythic drops.
This version of Astaroth features:
- New arena and attack patterns
- High fire damage output
- Summoned adds and AoE hazards
- A need for strong fire resistance and positioning
How to Find and Fight Him
You will need to complete specific steps to unlock the Astaroth boss fight in Season 9’s endgame content. The boss is tied to the upcoming Escalating Dungeon system.
