<p>Blizzard confirmed they&#8217;re aware of the bug. A hotfix will be released tomorrow to address the issue.</p>

Horadric Phials Bug in Diablo 4 Season 9 – Fix Coming Tomorrow


<p>With the launch of <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/diablo-4-latest-season/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Season 9: Sins of the Horadrim</a>, Blizzard has added a couple of new bundles to the <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Diablo 4 </a>shop that caught the attention of many players.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">New Add-On Bundles</h2>



<p>The new store deals include 5 different packages with 6 cosmetic skins for only 500 Platinum, which is around €5! Making it one of the more affordable bundles we&#8217;ve seen so far. There is one pack per class. While those bundles are not full of top-tier designs, it is a good way to get multiple new skins, for much cheaper than usual.</p>

<p>Players on social media and Reddit are sharing mixed opinions: some are happy to see cheaper bundles with more value, while others feel the skins are a bit underwhelming. Still, for players looking to change things up without spending too much, it is a welcome addition to the shop rotation!</p>



<p>In order to buy those, you need to head to the in-game shop, and then the &#8220;Add-On&#8221; tab. The bundles will be located there!</p>

New Diablo 4 Store Deal Offers 6 Skins for Just 500 Platinum!


<p>With Season 9 launch, players are reporting they&#8217;re missing mount trophies and other cosmetics on t<a href="https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/d4/t/missing-mount-trophy-and-helm-cosmetic/200182">he official forums</a>.</p>



<p>A player even noted their Hateful Stone (Paragon 300 reward) mysteriously vanished after the 2.3.0 update.</p>



<p>Blizzard has quickly responded to the issue and confirmed the team is aware and working on a fix for the issue.</p>

Blizzard Working on a Fix for Missing Mount Trophies and Cosmetics


<p>Players are already finding undocumented features of the new season! <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/diablo-4-latest-season/">Sins of the Horadrim</a> has only been out for a little over an hour, and we already have new discoveries at hand. While not exactly a big game-changer, this one will be very useful for those using the Wardrobe transmog system, even a little. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">One-Click Outfit</h2>



<p>Diablo 4&#8217;s transmog sets are pretty annoying to equip. You have to dig through each item slot to find that set&#8217;s piece. And it&#8217;s not always very obvious which one it is. So you end up clicking through dozens of items to see which one matches your set. And then, finally, you can have your uniform look.</p>



<p>Well, thanks to Season 9, and <a href="https://www.reddit.com/user/Ropp_Stark/">Ropp_Stark</a>, who spotted the feature, that&#8217;s no longer the case! You can simply hold your click on one set item and it will equip the entire related collection! That&#8217;s right, the ease-of-use is off the charts here with 5 items being transmogged with one click! </p>

<p>Players logging into <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/diablo-4-latest-season/">Season 9</a> today are getting a surprise. Their Favor tokens have carried over from the previous season!</p>



<p>Reddit user <a href="https://www.reddit.com/user/Freeloader_/">Freeloader_</a> noticed they started at 99/99 Favor and could unlock everything immediately.</p>

Among the strongest builds right out of the gate is the <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/hydra-sorcerer-build/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Hydra Sorcerer</a>. With high damage, ranged summon playstyle, multiple defensive skills and crowd controls for survivability, it&#8217;s already being the best pick for Pit pushing and speed farming.</p>



<p>But for players on controller or console, there is one big question: Does Hydra play well without a mouse and keyboard?</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Controller Concerns: The Real Issue</h2>



<p>Many abilities in Diablo 4 behave very differently on controller. Skills that require precise targeting, like Teleport, Leap, or Vortex, often feel clunky, automatically snapping to enemies instead of allowing free placement like you get with a mouse. This can break positioning, cause misfires, and generally make high-skill builds harder to use. </p>



<p>Because Hydra is a turret-based skill, some players feared it might suffer the same fate: misplaced summons or poor targeting that ruin uptime and control. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">So, How Does Hydra Actually Handle?</h2>

<p>Surprisingly well. The general consensus from the community is that Hydra works just fine on controller. Unlike skills that require pinpoint placement, casting Hydra is relatively straightforward. You don&#8217;t need to worry about targeting a very specific point, it auto-deploys near where you&#8217;re aiming, and the lack of precision isn&#8217;t a dealbreaker for this build. Even if the Hydra ends up a bit too much on the left or right, since after it&#8217;s placed it auto-targets enemies around it anyway, it&#8217;s no big deal.</p>



<p>Most players who tested <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/hydra-sorcerer-build/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Hydra</a> on PS5 or Xbox reported a smooth experience. As mentioned, the Hydras lock onto enemies automatically and deal damage passively, meaning you can focus more on moving and surviving rather than micromanaging every cast.</p>


How Controller-Friendly Is One of Diablo 4’s Top Season 9 Builds?


<p>Season 8 must end as the Sins of the Horadrim are upon us today! And here at the close of the current season, we have one player sharing their plunder! </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What Do You Get for 100 Hours?</h2>



<p><a href="https://www.reddit.com/user/Nearby-Wrangler-6869/">Nearby-Wrangler-6869</a> went to r/diablo4 and shared their notable gear at the end of Beliel&#8217;s Return. They had only returned to the seasonal game for this season after a long absence, since Season 1 in fact! They also put in around 100 hours into the season, which isn&#8217;t a short time by any means, but they definitely got at least a little lucky. We can see this from the very first item showcased, a crazy-impressive 4 Greater Affix Harlequin&#8217;s Crest! And even after 100 hours, there&#8217;s only one other 4 GA item in there. However, there was also a 3 GA Shroud of False Death, which definitely makes up for any other less-than-optimal luck! </p>



<p>The gear shared was mostly just the one being used on the Rogue, not every single good item gathered. And, of course, this is just Nearby-Wrangler&#8217;s loot luck, but we thought, why not showcase one player&#8217;s results after a fairly long-played season? </p>

Diablo 4 Season 9 Release Time – When & What to Expect


<p>A curious <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Diablo 4</a> player on Reddit recently put in the grind and saved up 137 Seasonal Caches, opening them all at once to test what kind of loot these boxes really give, and the results might surprise you. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What Is Inside a Seasonal Cache?</h2>



<p>To give you a small reminder of what can technically drop from those seasonal caches, here is a recap of the type of content you can obtain:</p>

<li>1x Greater Affix (GA1+) legendary</li>



<li>1x Greater Affix 1+ unique</li>



<li>Roughly 3-4 million gold (after selling unwanted loot)</li>

<p>No other items dropped, no gems, no runes, no tributes, making these caches very predictable, but also revealing in terms of higher-tier affix chances.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Drop Rate Results</h2>



<p>The player opened a total of 100 caches from the 137 he had originally in stock. This gave him a total of 400 items. Here are the different types of items he got:</p>

<p>Other players were rather surprised at the lack of 4 greater affixes after that many caches. No Mythics or Greater Affixes 4 dropped in the entire sample. And Greater Affix 2+ drop rate was around 14% of the guaranteed Greater Affix 1+ items.</p>

<p>The best item from the entire batch seemed to a 3 Greater Affix <a class="icy-gtnbrg-link" href="#"><span class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip"><img decoding="async" class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip-img" src="https://wp.icy-veins.com/static/d4/latest/images/icons/2DInventory_Offhand_e001_7.webp" alt="Strike of Stormhorn"><span class="tooltip-spell-name" data-item-type="Focus" data-item-quality="unique">Strike of Stormhorn</span></span></a>, which is not bad, but far from a jackpot.</p>



<p>While this is not an official data set, it gives you a real idea of what to expect when hoarding Seasonal Caches. The drop rates for top-tier affixes (GA3 and GA4), and especially Mythics, appear to be extremely low or outright excluded from these caches. </p>



<p>If you are farming Mythics or GA4 Uniques, Seasonal Caches might not be the place to look. Still, they are a reliable source of gold at least!</p>
