The Diablo IV Public Test Realm (PTR) for patch 2.4.0 will start tonight around 19:00 CEST, and will run from August 19 to August 26. This is your chance to test out upcoming Season 10 content, along with a ton of updates.
Blizzard says the focus this round will be on Chaos Armor, Chaos Perks, and a revamped Infernal Hordes, but all player feedback is welcome. After the PTR wraps up, the dev team will use community input to make final changes before the season officially launches.
How to Give Feedback
- Use the in-game feedback tool
- Press ESC
- Report a Bug
- In-Game Feedback

The PTR is PC-only for now, so console players will need to wait until Season 10 officially begins.
According to Adam Fletcher, you can already download the PTR right now:
Is It Worth Your Time
If you enjoy participating in the game’s future, absolutely. The whole point of the PTR is to gather feedback. That can be through the in-game tool or the official PTR forums, before the season officially launches. That means your voice could directly influence the balance and endgame of Season 10.
If you are not planning to give feedback and only want to preview Season 10 content, the PTR might not be very useful. In that case, it is probably better to wait for the official launch so you do not burn yourself out before the season even begins. Many players forget that the PTR’s main purpose is testing and reporting issues. It is not the final version of the season.

So, if you have ever wanted to get a head start on the next season, and maybe make Diablo IV a little better along the way, the PTR might be worth your time!
