Spiritborn Talents

The Spiritborn has access to 35 different talents (passive skills) in Diablo 4.

As more points are allocated into the skill tree, additional talent choices become available. Unlike skills, however, talents are passive. This means that you do not have to actively equip them; they always function as long as a point has been allocated to them.

Each talent can be given up to 3 skill points, except for the powerful Capstone talents, which can only be given one skill point.

This section provides a brief overview of the Spiritborn passive skills and their requirements.

Spiritborn Core Passive Talents

The Core talents of the Spiritborn are fairly quick to unlock, requiring only 2 skill points to be allocated in the skill tree.

VigorousVigorousCasting a Core Skill increases all Vigor Generation by {x}% for 3 seconds.
VelocityVelocityGenerate {x} Vigor each second while moving if you have dealt damage in the last 5 seconds.
Follow ThroughFollow ThroughYour Basic Skills deal {x}% increased damage. Double this bonus for 3rd attacks.

Spiritborn Focus Passive Talents

Spiritborn Focus talents are unlocked after allocating 6 skill points in the skill tree.

ApexApexYou deal {x}% increased Vulnerable damage. Double this bonus vs Elite enemies.
DiminishmentDiminishmentVulnerable enemies deal {x}% less damage to you.
MirageMirageGain 100% increased Dodge Chance during Evade. Whenever you Dodge, you gain {x}% Critical Strike Chance for 3 seconds.
UnrestrainedUnrestrainedYou deal {x}% increased damage while Unhindered or Unstoppable.
SwiftSwiftYour Mobility Skill Cooldowns are reduced up to {x} seconds based on how far you travel with them.

Spiritborn Defensive Passive Talents

The defensive talents of the Spiritborn are unlocked after 11 skill points have been allocated in the skill tree.

EnduranceEnduranceCasting a Defensive Skill grants {x} Vigor.
FueledFueledGain increased Life On Kill equal to {x}% of your Maximum Life while you have at least 4 stacks of Ferocity.
PerseverancePerseveranceGain {x}% additional Damage Reduction per stack of Resolve.
Patient GuardPatient GuardGain {x}% Block Chance. After standing still for 1.0 seconds, you gain {x}% Block Damage Reduction. Lasts for 2 seconds after you next move.
AuspiciousAuspiciousAfter not taking damage for {x} seconds, you gain up to {x}% of your Maximum Life as a Barrier over 10 seconds.
BastionBastionGain {x} Thorns. While you have a Barrier your Thorns are increased by 30%.
AntivenomAntivenomYou gain {x}% increased Poison Resistance and your Maximum Poison Resistance is increased by {x}%.
NourishmentNourishmentYour Healing is increased by 25%. Whenever you Heal your Poisoning Damage is increased by {x}% for 3 seconds, up to {x}%.

Spiritborn Potency Passive Talents

To unlock the Spiritborn Potency Talents, 16 skill points must first be allocated in the skill tree.

ResilientResilientCasting a Gorilla Skill grants {x}% increased Maximum Life for 10 seconds.
DominantDominantGorilla Skills deal {x}% increased damage to Knocked Down enemies and have a {x}% chance to Execute them if they are not a Boss.
BrillianceBrillianceEagle Skills deal {x}% increased damage for each {x}% Movement Speed you have.
AccelerationAccelerationCasting an Eagle Skill grants {x}% increased Movement Speed for 3 seconds.
PotentPotentHitting enemies with Jaguar Skills increases the damage they take from you by {x}% up to 10%.
FurnaceFurnaceJaguar Skills deal {x}% increased Critical Strike Damage per stack of Ferocity.
RavenousRavenousYour Centipede Skills deal {x}% increased damage. Double this bonus vs Healthy enemies.
OppressiveOppressiveYour Centipede Skills deal {x}% increased damage to Crowd Controlled enemies and gain 50% increased Crowd Control Durations.

Spiritborn Ultimate Passive Talents

To unlock the Ultimate talents of the Spiritborn, a total of 23 skill points must be allocated in the skill tree.

ResolutionResolutionCasting an Ultimate Skill grants {x}% increased damage to Elites for 3 seconds. Double this bonus if you are only fighting one enemy.
SustenanceSustenanceHitting enemies with Ultimate Skills Heals you for {x}% of your Maximum Life.
Spiritual AttunementSpiritual AttunementYour maximum Vigor is increased by {x} while you have an Ultimate Skill equipped.
SupremacySupremacyAny enemies you kill while an Ultimate Skill is active grants a stack of Supremacy, each increasing your damage by {x}%, up to 10%. When an Ultimate Skill ends, you gain 5 stacks of Supremacy, but you begin to lose one stack every second.
InitiativeInitiativeCasting an Ultimate Skill makes you Unstoppable for {x} seconds.
IntricacyIntricacyUpon casting an Ultimate Skill, the last Potency, Defensive, or Focus Skill you cast prior becomes free to cast for {x} seconds.

Spiritborn Capstone Passive Talents

Last but not least, the Spiritborn Capstone talents are unlocked after 33 skill points have been allocated in the skill tree. Unlike most other talents, however, Capstone talents are mutually exclusive. This means that only one of them may be selected, so make sure you choose wisely!

Noxious ResonanceNoxious ResonanceYour Critical Strikes cause enemies to burst 100% of the Total Poisoning on them as Poison damage to those around them.
Prodigy's TempoProdigy’s TempoEvery 3rd consecutive cast of the same Basic Skill increases all Skill Ranks by 2 for 5 seconds.

Every 3rd consecutive cast of the same Core or Potency Skill reduces all Skills’ active Cooldowns by 10%, increased by 2% for each of their Skill Ranks.
Adaptive StancesAdaptive StancesThe Base Spirit of a Skill cast grants:
• Eagle: 30% Movement Speed
• Gorilla: 30% Damage Reduction
• Jaguar: 30% Attack Speed
• Centipede: 30% Life Steal

Casting a Skill of a different Base Spirit:
• Swaps to the new bonus
• Increases all damage by 30% for 7 seconds
Vital StrikesVital StrikesYou deal 100% increased damage to Vulnerable enemies.

After making an enemy Vulnerable, your next Direct damage dealt to them:
• Heals you for 2% of your Maximum Life
• Generates 5 Vigor
• Removes the Vulnerable effect
