The Spiritborn class in Diablo 4 has access to 24 different skills in six categories. Additionally, most skills also have an “enhanced” version, as well as two upgrades that improve the skills in various ways.

This section provides a brief overview of the Spiritborn skills as well as their enhancements and upgrades.

Spiritborn Basic Skills

Basic Skills are spammable skills with the primary purpose of generating Vigor, the Resource used by other skills. Because they are free and have no cooldown, they are used to fill empty time while waiting for other, more powerful skills to become available. Basic Skills are also a good way to inflict debuffs like Vulnerable, Thorns, or Poison.

Sharp Withering FistSharp Withering FistWithering Fist‘s 3rd attack spreads its Poisoning to 5 Nearby unaffected enemies. Hitting a Vulnerable enemy will also spread that effect to all hit.
Accelerated Withering FistAccelerated Withering FistEnemies Poisoned by Withering Fist deal 20% less damage.

Thrash

Thunderspike

Sharp Rock SplitterSharp Rock SplitterRock Splitter‘s 3rd attack Knocks enemies Back and grants Resolve per enemy hit.
Accelerated Rock SplitterAccelerated Rock SplitterRock Splitter increases your Thorns by 13 for 5 seconds and your 3rd attack deals 100% of your Thorns to enemies.

Spiritborn Core Skills

The Spiritborn class uses Core Skills to spend Resource (Vigor) to deliver powerful attacks! Core skills are among the strongest skills for most classes, including the Spiritborn. However, while they have no cooldown, their biggest drawback is their Vigor cost.

Stinger

Rake

Crushing Hand

Spiritborn Focus skills provide a wide range of utility, such as pulling enemies together or applying various debuffs.

Toxic Skin

Replenishing Toxic SkinReplenishing Toxic SkinToxic Skin passively increases Thorns damage you deal to Poisoned enemies by 100%.
Measured Toxic SkinMeasured Toxic SkinWhile Toxic Skin is active, your Poisoning deals an additional 36% of its damage over time as Critical Strikes to Vulnerable enemies.

Ravager

Enhanced RavagerEnhanced RavagerRavager‘s duration is extended by 2 seconds per kill while active. This bonus is reduced by 0.25 each kill, to a minimum of 0.50 seconds.
Replenishing RavagerReplenishing RavagerRavager passively stockpiles any Healing you receive up to 40 stacks. While active, Ravager spends stacks to strike Elite enemies up to an additional 4 times.
Measured RavagerMeasured RavagerWhile Ravager is active, your Core Skills instantly dash to your target and all Vigor Generation is increased by 30%.

Soar

Enhanced SoarEnhanced SoarThe next hit against an enemy struck by Soar is guaranteed Critical Strike. If Soar hits no enemies you instead gain 50% increased Movement Speed for 3 seconds.
Replenishing SoarReplenishing SoarSoar’s cloud remains around you for 7 seconds after landing and continues to make enemies Vulnerable.
Measured SoarMeasured SoarSoar makes you Unstoppable for 3 seconds.

Vortex

Spiritborn Defensive Skills

Defensive Skills help to improve the Spiritborn’s defensive capabilities, whether through a Barrier, Crowd Control, or escaping incoming melee strikes as fast as possible.

Armored Hide

Reinforced Armored HideReinforced Armored HideWhile active, Armored Hide increases your Block Reduction by 5% for every Nearby enemy.
Adaptable Armored HideAdaptable Armored HideWhen you Evade through enemies with Armored Hide active, you deal 100% of your Thorns to them and Heal for 5% of your Maximum Life per hit.

Concussive Stomp

Scourge

Potency Skills provide various useful effects and mainly focus on AoE (area-of-effect) damage.

Payback

Poised PaybackPoised PaybackPayback passively grants you Vigor when you take damage. Payback is now a Core Skill and consumes all available Vigor to increase its damage by 0.5% for each point spent.
Invasive PaybackInvasive PaybackBecoming Control Impaired while Payback is on Cooldown makes it free to cast and grants you Unstoppable for 3 seconds. Can only occur once every 30 seconds.

Razor Wings

Touch of Death

When the infection expires or the host dies, a swarm hatches and seeks enemies for 9 seconds, dealing {x} damage per hit.

You can have up to 3 swarms active at once.
Enhanced Touch of DeathEnhanced Touch of DeathTouch of Death‘s infection Heals you for 2% of your Maximum Life per second for a total of 18% Maximum Life. You Heal any remaining when the swarm hatches.
Poised Touch of DeathPoised Touch of DeathTouch of Death is now a Core Skill which costs 70 Vigor and has no Cooldown.
Invasive Touch of DeathInvasive Touch of DeathTouch of Death‘s swarm bursts every second, applying 30% of its Base Poisoning damage over 6 seconds to surrounding enemies.

Spiritborn Ultimate Skills

Ultimate Skills are powerful skills that have a particularly long cooldown. Ultimate Skills are often built around in order to be effective, and only one Ultimate Skill can be equipped at a time.

The Protector

Exalted ProtectorExalted ProtectorThe Protector’s area persists for an additional 6 seconds. While in the area you are Unstoppable and any enemies or Small Missiles inside are Slowed by 80%.

The Seeker

Exalted SeekerExalted SeekerThe Seeker constantly makes all Nearby enemies Vulnerable while active.

The Hunter

Exalted HunterExalted HunterKilling an enemy while The Hunter is present has a 15% chance to instantly reset its Cooldown and cause your next cast within 8 seconds to repeat its 7 strikes an additional time, up to 4 times.

The Devourer

DescriptionThe Centipede Spirit emerges, blasting enemies in a line for {x} damage and spitting at others for {x} damage. Lasts for 15 seconds.
Harmonious DevourerHarmonious DevourerAs it emerges, The Devourer launches 10 toxic globs that apply 143 Poisoning damage over 6 seconds wherever they land.
Exalted DevourerExalted DevourerWhile The Devourer is active, if a Non-Boss enemy’s remaining Life becomes Poisoned they die instantly and unleash a Pestilent Swarm that deals 40 damage per hit to enemies it passes through.

Spiritborn Dismount Skill

While mounted, the Spiritborn has access to a unique Dismount Skill that allows them to leap off the mount and slam down on enemies with a powerful lightning attack that is similar to other skills of the Eagle Guardian Spirit. Players that are struck by an enemy are automatically dismounted and are unable to use their Dismount Ability until they mount back.
