Leveling Build Tier List
This list ranks builds based on their speed and ease of clearing the campaign and game content when starting with a fresh slate on Normal to Expert Difficulty. The higher the tier in the list above, the better the leveling performance.
Please also note that for certain in-game activities, some characters will be weaker regardless of the build, but the relative rankings should not differ much at lower levels.
This build tier list is up to date as of November 14th, 2024, and accounts for all the balance patches since Diablo 4 was launched (including seasons).

Naturally, each class has its pros and cons, so bear in mind that these tier lists are based on our own opinions and experiences and that they may change over time as the game develops, and new patches are released. Ultimately, the best class and build for any player, is the one that matches your playstyle, preferences, and goals. We encourage everyone to experiment and have fun with different combinations and options. Diablo 4 is a game that offers a lot of diversity and customization, so there is no right or wrong way to play it. Players should always choose a build according to what suits them best.
